Our Love
Story
At the end of 2021, Matteo and Rebecca embarked on a new chapter in their careers by joining a biomedical company.
Little did they know, fate had bigger plans than just a new employment opportunity for the two of them.
After a brief interaction at their headquarters in San Francisco (ask them about it; it's a sweet and funny story), Matteo and Rebecca happened to run into each other at a work conference in San Diego.
Not long after, this southern Italian man and So-Cal girl were surprised to find that they had a lot more in common than just their knowledge of laser science. For the following year, Matteo and Rebecca spent every moment they could together, flying to and from Los Angeles and San Francisco every weekend - when they weren't exploring new domestic and international destinations.
After a very busy year filled with incredible memories, Rebecca and Matteo returned to San Diego where he had planned the most unforgettable proposal on the day of their anniversary.
Today, Rebecca and Matteo are living together in Southern California, preparing every detail imaginable for their two weddings in Italy and the US.
Getting There
If you're flying, you can fly into Tito Minniti Strait Airport (REG), located in the heart of the city. Alternatively, you can fly into Lamezia Terme International Airport (SUF), 80 miles away from Reggio Calabria.
